Stomp Out PCOS Walk & Beach Day
Let's kick off summer with a day to walk together and then spend the afternoon hanging out at the beach! Everyone needs a mental break sometimes, so let's take one together.
This event is open to everyone and all ages, even if you don't have a diagnosis!
We will park in the parking lot closest to the Snack Bar/Park Headquarters before walking the 1.25 mile paved trail around the park.
Once we complete our walk, we will end up back at the beach by our cars, so you will be able to change in the bathrooms nearby. You can bring a picnic lunch, snacks, or order from the Snack Bar. We will spend the rest of the afternoon at the beach!
You can swim, bring a book, tan, listen to music, chat, etc. It's just a day to take time away from the stress of infertility or a chronic illness and have some fun!
Park Entry Fee: Carpooling is recommended
Washtenaw County Resident: $6 per vehicle
Non-County Resident: $10 per vehicle
If enough people let me know that they are for sure coming, I will look into getting us our own pavilion/shelter for this event. Due to the cost of these pavilions, I need a minimum of 20 people to RSVP yes and confirm with me through messenger or email (stompoutpcos@gmail.com) before I apply to rent one.
Together, At Home: Virtual Support Group
This event is a virtual support group for people who do not have kids because we will be focusing on feelings surrounding Father's Day, as well as having open discussions about infertility.
I hope to see you there at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 18th!

This open house event is for anyone who is experiencing infertility, has experienced infertility, is diagnosed with conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, etc., and people wondering how to support people in their lives going through these issues.
$5 entry fee
Food and beverage will be available for purchase.

Together, At Home: Support for Mother's Day
Thursday, May 7

This month, we will focus on getting support and resources to help cope with Mother’s Day.
This event is for anyone going through infertility and anyone who has been unable to have children.
Not going through infertility, but feeling like you might need some support for Mother's Day? Please join us as well! The only requirement is that you are not a parent.
The best part? You get to do this from the comfort of your home! Wear your favorite pajamas or comfy clothes, grab some comfort food, and let's talk through the feelings surrounding Mother's Day together.
Mother's Day while going through infertility is tough, but know that you are not alone!
Table Talk May
Join us for a time to make connections, have conversations, and build community. This will be a relaxed, private, and judgement free space to talk with others who understand what you are going through. It's a great opportunity to ask questions, share resources, or just vent!
This open house event is for anyone who is experiencing infertility, has experienced infertility, or is diagnosed with conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, and other similar disorders. You do not want to have kids to come - these diseases impact all of us, no matter what our goals are.
There is no pressure to share!
